What is Imaginative Content?

Imaginative Content is the brainchild of author/publisher/retired filmmaker Gary Robinson (Choctaw/Cherokee descent) who, at the ripe age of 75, decided to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental health with his work. His “content with purpose” approach guides his creative impulses.

With more than 20 books on Native American topics under his belt (See the Tribal Eye Productions page), he is embracing topics with a multicultural approach. Imaginative Content’s first project was a children’s picture book, co-authored with his daughter, titled Welcome to Make-Believe Land. Ideal for children ages 4-8, the delightfully illustrated book invites children to indulge in pretend and make-believe whenever possible.

Working to improve environmental health awareness and reduce plastic pollution, he
initiated the Plasti Kong Project beginning in 2024. This unique narrative venture includes a “campy” graphic novel and 3D mobile game app to increase the public’s knowledge of the dangers of plastic lurking in every corner of our world. (See www.PlastiKong.com) for more information and access to the novel and game now in development.

What’s next on the horizon? TBD. In the words of Bruno Mars, “Don’t believe me. Just watch!”
